A Level company - serving Greenwich, CT

Our Guarantee & Warranty - Level Two Chimney Greenwich

Every visit starts with

Level 1 sweep and inspection to the NFPA 211 annual standard - flue, crown, cap, and flashing checked and photographed

Worth knowing

Chimney sweep logs do not sweep chimneys. They loosen some creosote - which then falls where a brush and vacuum still have to collect it.

The Level Two Chimney Greenwich Guarantee

Here’s what our guarantee means when the truck leaves your driveway in Greenwich: the price we quoted in writing is the price you paid. The work described in that written scope is the work that was done, documented with photos before we packed up. If something isn’t right, you call (516) 399-5497 and we come back. That’s the 365-Day Done Right Promise, and it’s been stamped on every job we’ve done since Level Two Chimney Co. started operating under the Haven Standard in 2009. Not a marketing line. A written commitment, in your hand, before anyone touches a ladder.

What’s Covered

  • Workmanship on every service. Whether we’re sweeping a flue, parging a smoke chamber, or rebuilding a crown, the work is covered by the 365-Day Done Right Promise. If it’s not done right, we make it right, at no charge, within a year of the job date.
  • Parts and materials we supply. Liners from DuraFlex and HeatShield, crown materials from Gelco, caps from Olympia Chimney and Famco, chase covers from Copperfield. If a part we installed fails due to a manufacturing defect or our installation, we handle the replacement and the labor. No chasing down a manufacturer’s warranty department on your own.
  • Cleanup as part of the job. A chimney cleaning is a dirty job, but your house isn’t part of the deal. Drop cloths at the hearth, a HEPA vacuum running during the sweep, and a walkthrough with you before we leave. The work area looks the way we found it, except the chimney works.
  • Arrival when we said we’d arrive. Haven Standard Clause 3 means a named technician is assigned to your job, that person is background-checked and uniformed, and you get a text when they’re on the way. If we’re running late, you’ll know before you’re wondering.
  • The written price, honored. Haven Standard Clause 1 is the one we built the company on: a written price, written scope, and written warranty are delivered before anyone starts. Not after the tech is in your living room. Not “call for a quote” after the fact. The number on the page is the number on the invoice.
  • A documented photo record, every visit. Clause 4 of the Haven Standard requires it. Since 2009, we have archived camera footage and photos from every single inspection and cleaning. You walk away with a visual record of what we saw, what we did, and what your chimney looked like when we finished.

Our Satisfaction Promise

Our Satisfaction Promise

If you’re not satisfied with the work, you tell us. You don’t fill out a form, you don’t wait for a callback, you call (516) 399-5497 and talk to a live person, 24 hours a day. We log the issue, and we schedule the return visit. There’s no argument about whether the concern is legitimate. The 365-Day Done Right Promise works like this: we come back, we look at the documented photo record from your job, we compare it to what you’re seeing now, and we make it right. That might mean re-sweeping a section of flue, re-sealing a crown joint, or replacing a cap that isn’t seating correctly. Corrine Halstead owns this company, and she’s the one who takes the call when a customer isn’t happy. She’d rather fix it once than argue about it twice.

Licensed & Insured Backing

The paperwork matters. We’re licensed and insured in Connecticut, and our license information is displayed on every page of this site, not hidden in a drawer somewhere. Insurance means if a technician’s ladder slips and something happens, you’re not left holding the bill. Licensing means we answer to the state, not just to ourselves. Beyond that, every technician who shows up at a Greenwich home is background-checked and uniformed, with a named tech assigned to your job before the day starts. The guarantee is only as good as the company backing it, and the backing here is concrete: written pricing before work begins, a documented photo record when it’s done, and a real person who answers the phone when you call about it.

How to Use the Guarantee

How to Use the Guarantee

Keep the written scope and the photo report. That’s your record. If anything surfaces, call (516) 399-5497 and reference your job date. We pull the archived camera footage from that visit, review what was documented, and schedule the return. The process is designed to be simple enough that you’ll actually use it, because a guarantee that’s hard to claim isn’t a guarantee, it’s a slogan.
